KAC INCLUSIVE TENNIS

Where every ability belongs on court.

Meet Kajol

My name is Kajol Arishma Chand, and tennis has been a part of my life for over 14–15 years. I have competed at both national and international levels, previously holding an Australian ranking of 389 in 2020, and representing Australia and Fiji across Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu, New Zealand, and Australia.

I spent over 8 years with Paul’s Tennis Academy, with more than 2 years of hands-on coaching experience working with junior players. I hold a Community Coaching qualification (2020) and have completed the Women in Tennis Certificate, supporting my passion for inclusive and female-led sport.

Beyond tennis, I have extensive experience in the disability support sector, including lived experience supporting a close family member with disabilities. This has shaped the way I coach with patience, empathy, structure, and understanding. I specialise in working with children with disability and autism, creating sessions that focus on confidence, movement, routine, and enjoyment in a safe and supportive environment.

I am fully insured through Tennis Australia Coach Membership, hold First Aid & CPR, and a Working With Children Check, ensuring all sessions meet appropriate safety and risk management standards.

My goal is simple: to make tennis a place where every child feels safe, included, and capable. For me, tennis has always been more than a sport, it’s a tool for wellbeing, confidence, and connection, and I’m proud to now pass that on to others.

Volunteering experience

I have been fortunate to volunteer with Fiji Tennis in Lautoka, where I supported inclusive tennis sessions for children and individuals with disabilities. During this time, I assisted with coaching basic tennis skills, helping participants build confidence, coordination, and enjoyment through sport in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Beyond coaching on court, I was involved in giving back to the community by helping organise and distribute essential items such as shirts, food, and supplies to participants and families. This experience was incredibly meaningful and reinforced my belief that sport can create connection, joy, and opportunity for everyone, regardless of ability or background.

Volunteering in Fiji strengthened my passion for inclusive sport and continues to inspire the way I coach today.

What Sets Us Apart

🌱 Inclusive & Individualised Approach

Every session is tailored to each participant’s unique needs, abilities, and comfort level. We prioritise safety, patience, and understanding, creating a space where every child feels supported and confidently grows at their own pace.

Confidence Through Movement

We focus on building confidence, coordination, and emotional regulation through structured yet fun tennis activities. Our goal is to help participants develop not just skills, but self-belief and independence.

🤝 Safe, Supportive Environment

With lived experience in disability support, we understand the importance of routine, clear communication, and trust. Sessions are designed to be calm, predictable, and encouraging, helping participants feel secure and included.
